Year 5

Yesterday, 5A finished planting the thyme and mint in our allotment bed and ensured that the plants were thoroughly watered. The children enjoyed experiencing the scents that the plants produce. Year 5 will continue to water plants regularly.

Year 6 busy in the allotment this afternoon!

After an AMAZING sports day, 5S decorated and dug up their allotment bed. 

It is now filled with thyme and mint.

Transition Tuesday is here again and this week Year 6 are following their lesson timetable as they head off around the school to have lessons with different class teachers.

Sports Day

EYFS and Key Stage 1 sports day will be on Tuesday at 10am

Key Stage 2 sports day will be on Wednesday at 10am

The track has been relocated this year, so please be aware of the markings on the field.

Access via Trafalgar Road Gate . Bat and Ball gate will be locked. Assemble along the wall that runs parallel to the road.

Can you ensure your child has a hat, water bottle and is wearing sun cream.

Year 4 at the allotment today!


Queens Baton Relay Today

This morning Wrotham Road Primary School teamed up with Team Kaizen to celebrate the Queens Baton Relay passing through Gravesend Town Centre on its way to the next runner over in Tilbury. The pupils learned the dance in the space of 4 days and danced as the baton passed by. They were cheered on by the convoy and the Gravesham Mayor.

Queen's Baton Relay

On Friday, the Queen’s Baton Relay will make it's way through the borough. Kieron from Team Kaizen TDS, who provides our street dance lessons, has been asked to put together a group of dancers to perform along the route.

Year 6

Year 6 have been getting creative with our LEGO Technic sets this afternoon! 



Water fun!




Year 6 have been down to the allotment to clear and prepare our flower beds for planting a sensory garden next week. Check out the before and after pictures - all trees have been relocated!
