Year 1 and Year 2 Sports Day

 

Year 5 Sports Day!

 

Reception Sport Day !

It was a big adventure for all the Reception children, being able to go to the Top Playground to take part in various games and races.

We used our previous learning about sportsmanship, and working as a team, to ensure that we had a fantastic morning.The children all know that it's great to win, but winning isn't the most important part of today. It was about taking part, and enjoying.We started with a Bean Bag Balance, followed by the Egg and Spoon Race. Then the children, in their teams, played the Over Under ball game.We even had a fantastic go at the Sack Race!The children all took part in a running race, which they then insisted that the adults also run!

A good time was had by all 🙂

Sports Day Week

 Year 3 indoor sports event due to the rain!

Year 6 Transition Day

Y6 have spent the afternoon looking at and learning about their secondary schools. All children should now be familiar with their school address, website, timetable and headteacher. We have watched all school Virtual Transition videos and also spent time looking at all new schools on a map! 

Year 3 - IPC

We have had a great day in Year 3 for our entry point for gateways to the World. The children had a great time running to their gates to make it on time for their flight. They had a go at packing their suitcase and rushing to make it on time. We learn about the infamous Wright brothers and had a go at making our own paper airplanes.
