PJ Day in Year 1

Today we discussed the importance of bedtime stories, designed our own pyjamas and incorporated story writing in our English!

PJ Day!

Year 6 spent the morning sitting comfortably, reading books together. We then went on to relax and listen to Audio Books. We made a comparison between two texts to help us come up with ideas for our writing this week.

Number Day 2021

Year 3
We linked our topic to number day and the children played Stone Age Maths Monopoly. They had fun answering multiplication and division questions and when they landed on 'chance' they had to use their reasoning skills. The 'challenge cards' were linked to our topic 'Scavengers and Settlers'.

Year 4 IPC Entry Point

Year 4 have been exploring the relationship between surface area and air resistance during their IPC Entry Point about Forces. They have been designing and making parachutes. Next week they will test them!

Year 5 IPC Entry Point

We have been looking at 'Growing Up' and what that might involve. We got to share what we think our future might hold and at what age we might like to get there. We then drew around a member of the class and labelled the organs using our scientific key word prompts.
