Road Safety Week 2019
Throughout the week we will be talking in assembly about keeping safe especially in the winter months and how to be vigilant when walking around a busy town (Highway Code).
By taking part in Road Safety Week it is a great way to educate children, young people and parents about the dangers on our roads, how we can all take steps to be safer, and how adults can better protect children. It can make a huge difference to children’s lives and help to prevent deaths and injuries.

The Story of English. Children discussed, shared and justified that their favourite word was and why (either in English or their own language). We then looked at how language is expressed through graffiti and considered if it's art or vandalism. Children used glass pens to present their word in a graffiti style on the classroom windows.
