Upcoming PTA Fundraising Events

PTA Meeting in the Parent Support Centre after school on Thursday 7th November.  Everyone welcome.  Please come along and share your fundraising ideas.

PTA Tuck shop, Uniform and Costume Sale is on Friday 8th November after school in the canteen.  All items start from 50p.


The PTA are selling Samosas and hot drinks at Parents Evening on Monday 11th November and Tuesday 12th November.  All items start from 50p.

Tear 6 - IPC unit

The Story of English. Children discussed, shared and justified that their favourite word was and why (either in English or their own language). We then looked at how language is expressed through graffiti and considered if it's art or vandalism. Children used glass pens to present their word in a graffiti style on the classroom windows.

French Day - Year 3 - IPC

Today Year 3 took part in ‘French Day’ for our IPC entry point. We dressed up in red, white and blue to represent the French flag. We learnt French phrases, numbers and colours and created our own versions of ‘Waterlilies’ by Claude Monet.In the afternoon we tasted some traditional French food!

Diwali Day





During Diwali day, Year 4 made their own divas out of clay and decorated them using bright coloured paint and glitter. Happy Diwali Day!

Diwali Day - This Tuesday

Celebrating Diwali 

We are delighted to inform you that we will be celebrating the celebration, Diwali, on Tuesday.

Children will be asked to wear sporty footwear as they will be taking part in a Bhangra workshop. The children can also wear colourful clothes or traditional clothing. 

The day will start with an assembly explaining what Diwali is about and why people celebrate it. Throughout the day children will also be taking part in a Bhangra workshop where they will learn a simple routine as well as taking part in different activities within class. 

These activities could be: 
-Learning the stories around Diwali 
- Creating and decorating rangoli patterns 
-Making Diwali sweets 
-Sharing their Diwali experiences 
-Music
