Year 4 at Curly's Farm

Today was the first day for a new group of Year 4’s at Curly’s Farm! We met our farmer for the term, Hollie, who showed us around and gave us our jobs for the day.  First, we checked on the sheep, goats and pigs, then we headed to feed the chickens. On the way we saw some emus (they were strange!). In the afternoon we took a tour of the farm and visited the alpacas.  One did not have a name so we decided to call her Blizzard!

Year 3 Entry Point

Ahoy mateys! Today we had a fun filled day with activities all about islands. We made our own flags to use instead of putting our hands up. We made our tables into an island and could only travel around the classroom using stepping stones. We made some boats to save friends trapped on a dessert Island and we discussed what would be the best things to take with us on a desert island.

Year 6 - Exit Point

Year 6 have spent the week exploring how to use different material and medium to create a book. They spent a lot of time designing and comparing what materials to use, before putting their ideas together. They created a book, designed the cover and bound paper inside for them to add to at home. We are really impressed with their efforts and the designs they have come up with!
