During the workshop, the presenter asked and answered the pupils' questions that linked with the topics being taught in school.

Dear Parents/Carers,
We are delighted to announce that Astronomy Roadshow will be visiting Wrotham Road Primary School on Thursday 13th October with their planetarium. This hour-long experience will project the Solar System, Constellations, the Milky Way and Space Stations for a virtual tour of space. During the workshop, the presenter will ask and answer any of the pupils that link with the topics being taught in school.
Kind regards
Mr Smith
Wrotham Road took part in the area heat of the National General Knowledge Quiz Championship. Both teams did really well throughout the competition. We were in first place for most rounds, but we finished in 5th and 12th place. The children enjoyed themselves and demonstrated excellent teamwork skills.
Well done!
Year 5 enjoyed discussing the textures and appearances of different types of bread from around the world before tasting the bread. We also explored the role of yeast within baking bread, including the differences between leavened and unleavened bread.
