3AS discovered that many famous inventions were actually created by mistake. They were able to discuss the importance of mistakes and identify that they can be beneficial when we learn from them. They were able to create a mistake learning cycle poster about the invention of the frisbee.

After last week's general election, Year 6 spent some time thinking about what they would do if they were in charge of the country. In groups they created manifestos and each wrote a speech detailing why their party deserves to be elected. Today we conducted the speeches and all children were able to vote for the party that they thought had the best views. The results have been counted and we have a 'hung parliament' with the Children's Rights Party and the Economy Protection Party.
