RM Easi Maths in school and at home

Fun characters and a user-friendly interface make RM Easimaths feel more like playing a game with new friends rather than learning. This can be a strong motivator to keep learning and improve their skills. Keeping pupils wanting to participate, just 10 to 15 minutes per day, 3 to 5 times per week can deliver great improvements.  RM Easimaths is jam-packed full of fun activities. The characters that guide you through RM Easimaths are colourful and quirky, and appealing to a range of ages. So the software does the hard work for you by making maths enjoyable.

Steel Drumming Music Workshop with Muziki

Each class in Key Stage 2 had the opportunity to have a 30 minutes workshop today.

Steel Drumming Music Workshops are totally interactive, great fun and assist the pupils with many aspects of their musical development.
There was an impressive bank of 7 tenor pans used in the workshops so that all the pupils get a number of opportunities to play the pans. The tenor pans are the perfect height and size for primary age pupils and are coloured coded so that all pupils are able to access and enjoy playing the pans whatever their musical foundation.

What an amazing day!

Harvest Festival This Friday

On Friday 16th October we will hold our Harvest Festival Assembly. Unfortunately, due to lack of space, parents will not be invited, but look out for news of your child’s class assemblies to be held throughout the year to which we’d love you to come!  Again this year we will be donating food &   toiletries to the Gravesham foodbank. ‘The foodbank is designed to help individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food supplies.’ We’d be extremely grateful if each child could bring in a small Harvest offering from the list below on the day:

Tinned vegetables - potatoes, carrots, peas
Instant potato
Tinned fruit
Tinned meat - pies, mince & onions etc
Tinned fish - tuna
Pasta sauces
Biscuits & cereal bars
Rice pudding (tinned puddings)
Spreads - jam, marmite, peanut butter
Longlife milk
Longlife fruit juice/squash
Toiletries & toilet rolls
Laundry tabs/washing up liquid

All items to be longlife, tinned, dried, jar or packet.

Thank you so much for your support.
